Ages 18 months to 6 years

The biggest window for learning is open right now.

In-home early intervention ABA for Maryland toddlers and preschoolers, built around play, first words, and the routines your family already has.

What this program is

ABA that looks and feels like play.

For children ages 18 months to 6 years, the best teaching happens inside the things they already love: blocks, bubbles, snack time, chase games around the living room. Our clinicians use naturalistic teaching, which means goals are woven into play your child chooses instead of drills at a table.

First words, gestures, and other ways to communicate come first, because communication changes everything for a toddler. And parents are part of the program from day one; caregiver training is a formal section of every plan, so what your child learns with us keeps working after we pack up.

  • Naturalistic teaching woven into play your child chooses
  • A focus on first words and early communication
  • Parent coaching built into every plan
Who this is for

Families who usually start here.

Recently diagnosed

Your child was just diagnosed with autism and the evaluator recommended ABA. We explain the whole process in plain English and help you take the first step.

Waiting on words

Your toddler has few or no words yet, or communicates mostly through frustration. Early communication goals are the heart of this program.

Aging out of birth-to-three

Your family is finishing the Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program and wants support to continue past age three. We help you make that handoff.

Inside a session

What a morning with us looks like.

1

Warm-up and connection

Sessions start with your child's favorite things, so your child learns that our clinician means fun before we ask anything of them.

2

Play with a purpose

Teaching targets are folded into games, songs, and routines. To your child it feels like play; underneath, every goal has a baseline and clear mastery criteria.

3

Real routines

Meals, getting dressed, cleanup, sibling play. We practice skills where they are actually needed so they hold up outside of sessions.

4

A quick parent recap

Sessions wrap with a few minutes for you: what we worked on, what we saw, and one thing to try before next time.

Coverage

Covered by insurance.

We verify your benefits before anything else

Before you commit to anything, we check your coverage for free and explain it in plain English. We work with Maryland Medicaid, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and other major plans. On your paperwork, this program usually appears as CPT 97151 (the initial assessment), 97153 (one-on-one sessions), and 97156 (caregiver training).

Questions, answered

What parents ask about starting early.

No. Our early intervention program is designed for toddlers, and sessions look like guided play rather than table work. The earliest years are a powerful window for learning, so if you have concerns, talking with a BCBA now beats waiting.
Like play, on purpose. A behavior technician follows your child's lead through toys, songs, snack time, and everyday routines, weaving in the teaching moments your BCBA has planned. Data is collected the whole time so the team can see what is working.
Many families move from birth-to-three services into ABA around a child's third birthday. We can pick up where your service coordinator leaves off: we review your child's records, complete our own assessment, and build a plan so support can continue as smoothly as possible.
Involved from day one. Caregiver training is a formal section of every treatment plan, not an afterthought, and we plan around real life with coaching at the end of sessions, telehealth check-ins, and evening options. You will always know what we are working on and why.

Little kids take big first steps.

Tell us about your toddler. A BCBA will call you back, walk you through how this program works, and answer every question. The consultation is free.
