Support between visits

Your BCBA, just a video call away.

Telehealth ABA support adds flexibility between in-home sessions: virtual parent coaching and BCBA check-ins, with evening times for busy families. It never replaces hands-on care.

Flexibility, not a substitute

What telehealth adds to in-home care.

We will say this plainly: telehealth is not a replacement for hands-on, in-person therapy. Your child's direct sessions happen at home, with a real person at the table.

What video does well is keep the plan moving between those visits. Parent coaching, BCBA check-ins, and quick problem-solving all work over a call, and they are much easier to schedule after bedtime or around a work shift.

  • Virtual parent coaching sessions
  • BCBA check-ins on your schedule
  • Evening availability for busy families
Made for real schedules

Who this is for.

Parents with packed weeks

Coaching after the kids are in bed, or during a lunch break. Evening video sessions mean training does not have to compete with everything else.

Families mid-program

When a strategy stops working on a Tuesday, a quick call with your BCBA beats waiting for the next in-home session.

Families farther out

Our clinicians come to homes across eight Maryland counties, from Frederick to Waldorf. Video check-ins add a layer of contact between those visits.

Simple on purpose

How a telehealth session works.

1

Pick a time

We schedule around your week, including evenings. Sessions are planned ahead, not squeezed in.

2

Join from anywhere

A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera is all you need. We send the link; you find a quiet corner.

3

Work through real situations

Your BCBA coaches you on what is happening at home right now: a routine, a transition, a behavior that changed.

4

Leave with next steps

You end each call knowing what to try, and your in-home team follows up at the next session.

Insurance

Part of the same ABA benefit.

How coverage works

Parent coaching over video is billed under CPT code 97156, and BCBA treatment direction under 97155, the same codes as in-person care. Coverage details vary by plan, so we verify your benefits for free and explain them in plain English before anything is scheduled. We work with Maryland Medicaid, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and most major commercial plans; see the full list on our insurance page.

Questions, answered

What families ask us.

No. Direct therapy with your child happens in person, in your home. Telehealth adds parent coaching and BCBA check-ins between those visits, so the plan keeps moving on the weeks when life gets busy.
You meet your BCBA over video, usually for parent coaching. You talk through what is working and what is not, practice strategies together, and end the call with clear next steps. Your in-home team follows up at the next session.

A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a reliable internet connection. We send you a link before each visit, and your BCBA helps you get set up the first time. No special software skills needed.
